Orders & Returns

Can I return live shrimp?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns on live shrimp. However, we will reimburse you for any Dead on Arrival (DOA) shrimp following our guidelines.

Can I cancel my order?

Order cancellations will incur a 5% charge on the total order amount. This fee applies to any order cancellation request and cannot be waived for any reason, even if the request is made right after the order is placed.

If you need to edit your order to add or remove items, email us, and our team will assist you.

To cancel an order, please email your order number to supershrimpca@gmail.com, and we will process it for you.

What should I do if my shrimp arrive dead (DOA)?

In the rare case of Dead On Arrival (DOA), please follow these steps:

  • Fill in the DOA Form within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt with a clear photo of the deceased shrimp within the original packaging.
  • Store credits will be issued for the cost of lost invertebrate(s) only.
  • If you prefer a replacement, we will invoice you for the shipping cost.
Are there any cases where the DOA guarantee is void?

Yes. Claims will be void if:

  • Packages are left outside for extended periods in extreme temperatures.
  • The shipment is forwarded to another address unless delivered on the same day.

Shipping Policy

What shipping methods do you use?

We ship our shrimp using Canada Post and Purolator for reliable and secure 1-2 day delivery across Canada.

Express Shipping: 1-2 business days, 100% live arrival guarantee.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

What happens if my order is delayed?

Unforeseen events like extreme weather conditions may cause shipping delays. We will monitor these situations and inform you of any potential delays.

Live Arrival Guarantee

What is your Live Arrival Guarantee?

We are confident in our packaging and shipping methods. All our orders come with a 100% live arrival guarantee on our shrimp.

If any shrimp arrive deceased:

  • Contact us within 2 hours of delivery at supershrimpca@gmail.com.
  • Provide a clear photo of the deceased shrimp within the original packaging.
  • A credit will be issued for livestock found to be DOA.
How do you ensure the shrimp arrive alive?

We take extra care to ensure your shrimp arrive safely. During colder months, we include heat packs, and in warmer weather, we use cold packs to maintain the right temperature. With our extensive experience shipping across Canada, we guarantee a smooth delivery and healthy shrimp upon arrival.

Handling & Winter Shipping

How long does order processing take?

Our current handling time is 1 to 5 business days. However, we may delay shipments due to extreme weather conditions.

Do you ship during cold weather?

We follow a temperature-based shipping policy depending on the low of day temperature :

  • -4Β°C and above: Shipping available.
  • -5Β°C and below: Orders will be held until conditions improve.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes when your shipping location is 0Β°C and below.
